Happy 2007
Bruges 12-2006
Wednesday en Thursday, we went for a little pre-exam trip to our Belgian coast. It must have been ages since I was there.
On Wednesday we went to Bruges to do some shopping and walk the Christmas market. For the night I found a wonderful little B&B with only two bedrooms, just at the border of Bruges.
Thursday morning we hadn’t had enough walked so we went to Oostende to walk along the beach and have some fresh fried fish :) After that we went to Gent were we catched up with Lynn, Petras best friend to have diner.
It just felt like a weekend in the middle of the week!

Too early
It’s too early to get up when wake up and your toothbrush is still wet from the day before.

no-time-to-ski
Hmm, ski season has begun, skiing areas are opening one by one and so I’m receiving once again the latest news from The Dolomites on my mobile.

From 1st of December 7 lifts and 4 slopes are open at Kronplatz.
This year, I don’t look forward to receive those messages because they remind me of the fact that I don’t see a change for me to go skiing this year. During the Christmas holidays, I’m staying at home while Petra comes over from France and during the Spring and Easter holidays I’ll be in Great-Brittan. So this year will be a no-time-to-ski year.

End of the SNCF strike
After a few weeks where only 2 trains out of 3 reached Paris on time, the strike of the employees of SNCF is now over.
That’s what I call good news. Especially when Petra and the rest of the Belgian Erasmus students are coming back for Christmas by the end of next week.

Blok Open 2006
Yesterday there was a big indoor boulder competition at Klimzaal Blok in Wilrijk. There were 77 climbers challenging each other on 32 different boulders. Although I wasn’t feeling very well I took some time to go and have a look, support some friends and take some pictures.
Women top 3: Eline Nas, Unting Tsai and Jenneke Croubels.
Men top 3: Didier Mottard, Tom Vencken and Benjamin Vervaet.

Some changes
Last weekend I spent some time editing the layout (wordpress theme) and writing some new CSS. As you can see I have changed some little things in the layout. Now you can change the background photo of the header by clicking on these little pictures on the header.
I also added a few pages, one about traveling and one about photography. On the travel page you can find a little list of the trips we did together till now and on the photo page you will find some of our latest photos.
